Overview
Communication jammers “Eris” are designed to cover the full communication frequency range and can undertake jamming and deception missions against communication networks. They can be installed in various types of military vehicles and have a sole operator. The jamming modes include special techniques against Tactical Radios (Single, Multi Jam, look – through, barrage – sweep etc). All systems are equipped with Multi-task and high performance interfaces between users and equipment operating at a Frequency range from 1MHz to 3GHz.

Typical Configuration
The typical system configuration consists of the following subsystems:
- Monitoring and Signal Analysis
- S-280/C/G shelter or armored vehicle, with Air Conditioning unit
- Jammer Control
- Communication
- High Power Amplifier
- Antenna
- Cooling
- Electric Power

Features & Capabilities
- Searches, intercepts and analyzes the spectrum, recognizes and analyzes the situation and chooses the most effective jamming technique.
- Accomplishes the required adjustments for the jamming parameters (Jam dwell time – Jam cycle duration – look through), in terms of the targeting signals characteristics (i.e. dwell time), so that the jamming time is adapted to each signal and to the exact time needed to disrupt the communication, without consuming unnecessary energy.
- Automatically estimates the required jamming output level by calculating the users input desirable parameters (distance, power) and the hostile networks of interest.
- Provides surrounding surveillance via camera and sensors (day and night).
- Verifies line of site (LOS) areas to choose suitable place for the emplacement of the jammer.
- Predetermined frequencies and frequency areas can be exempted from the jammed areas.
